I joined Lawrence Stephens as a Paralegal in January 2025, with four years’ experience at multinational, Silver Circle, and American law firms.

I have worked with large commercial banks, investment funds and borrowers on multi-jurisdictional and UK-focussed deals, ranging from £150million to £1.2billion. I have extensive experience project-managing multi-jurisdictional transactions to ensure that local regulatory requirements and deadlines are met.

Outside of work, I enjoy design, skiing, and adding to my collection of leather-bound books.

I joined Lawrence Stephens as a Paralegal in January 2025 in the Residential Real Estate department.

Prior to joining Lawrence Stephens, I gained four years of new build experience within plot sales acting for Housing Associations. I am currently working towards gaining my CILEx Lawyer qualification.

Outside of work I enjoy visiting new countries with family and friends. I also like to keep fit by going to the gym.

I joined Lawrence Stephens in January 2024 and currently in the Real Estate team.

Having previously worked at a city law firm and dealing with all aspects of residential and commercial property, I have experience in commercial and residential property, including working for borrowers, property developers and lenders.

I am committed to personal and professional development and keen to enhance my legal knowledge within real estate and am currently studying LLM LPC part time after successfully completing my GDL at BPP University.

In addition to my law degree, I have a degree in veterinary medicine and previously practiced as a veterinary surgeon.

Having also previously own my own business, I am able to view situations from a business perspective, understand client’s needs and tailor my advice with an analytical and entrepreneurial approach.

Outside of work, I play tennis, enjoy swimming, love traveling and exploring new places, relaxing in nature and am keen to join a rowing club soon.

I joined Lawrence Stephens’ Residential Real Estate team as a paralegal in May 2024.

Prior to this, I gained valuable experience working at a London law firm after completing my Bachelor’s degree in Law and the Legal Practice Course.

I have experience in assisting a wide range of residential property matters for both domestic and international clients, including private companies and high-net-worth individuals.

Having grown up in Hong Kong, I possess a rich cultural background that encompasses both British and Asian influences, enabling me to provide exceptional legal services that address the needs of our diverse clientele.

Outside of work, I am an avid traveller who loves exploring new destinations.

I joined Lawrence Stephens in April 2024, bringing with me two years of experience in the new build sector. I hold an undergraduate degree in Law and completed both the Legal Practice Course (LPC) and a Master’s in Law, Business, and Management at the University of Law. Prior to joining Lawrence Stephens, I worked in the new build department, representing well-known developers across London, where I gained extensive experience acting for sellers and buyers.

Outside of my legal practice, I enjoy cooking and staying active at the gym. As a passionate music enthusiast, I share insights on various music genres through social media and play the guitar in my free time.

Samantha Aldridge

I joined Lawrence Stephens in September 2024 following a decade-long career in human resources, having previously worked as the Head of HR in a number of London-based law firms. I am currently working towards qualifying as an employment solicitor.

I have experience of a wide range of employment law issues throughout the life cycle of the employment relationship and particular experience working with SRA regulated firms and employees. My practical experience of working in human resources has provided me with valuable insight of the challenges faced by directors and HR managers as well as the rights of individuals. My deep understanding of the workplace environment enables me to support my colleagues in the employment team and our clients by providing efficient solutions to employment-related problems.

Outside of work I enjoy learning new skills and taking part in creative hobbies.

Sarah Keating

I joined Lawrence Stephens in July 2024 as a paralegal in the Disputes Resolution team.

I bring over 20 years’ experience to the firm, having previously worked at a top West End law firm as a legal secretary within the Dispute Resolution department, dealing with property litigation and insolvency, bankruptcy and restructuring.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, cooking and spending time with my two daughters.

I joined Lawrence Stephens in April 2024 as a paralegal in the Real Estate Finance department. I bring over eight years of bridging finance, secured lending and residential conveyancing experience to the team.

Prior to joining Lawrence Stephens, I worked at a Legal 500 City Firm as a paralegal while training to qualify as a property lawyer.

I have vast experience in acting for both lenders and borrowers in all aspect of real estate transactions.  

In my spare time, I enjoy reading and cooking.

I joined Lawrence Stephens’ Residential Real Estate department in August 2023 and earned my degree in LLB Law in 2020. I will now be embarking on my SQE journey.

Prior to joining Lawrence Stephens, I gained 2 years of experience in residential real estate, specialising in new build and buy-to-let transactions.

In my spare time, I enjoy cooking and take pleasure in discovering new restaurants. Travelling and exploring new destinations are some of my passions.

I joined Lawrence Stephens in July 2021 to help set up the new Family department.  I joined as a legal secretary directly assisting the Head of Department. I have worked solely in family law for eight years across Sussex, Kent and London.    

Outside of work, I enjoy the simple things in life: going to the gym, reading books, drinking Prosecco with my friends and going on long dog walks in the countryside where I live. 

Edward Thraves

I joined Lawrence Stephens’ Real Estate department as a Paralegal in September 2019.

Prior to this, I was a Paralegal at Aubrey David where I passed the Paralegal Ilex Course between 2008-2010. In 2017, Aubrey David Solicitors merged with DWFM Solicitors where I worked as a Paralegal before joining Lawrence Stephens.

I am interested in most sports including going to as many Arsenal games as I can and going to the Cheltenham Festival every year. I also regularly run in my own time.
