However, since 1 December 2020, UK employers are required to use a sponsor licence to recruit both EU and non-EU citizens. Our team is experienced in assisting businesses obtain sponsor licences from the Home Office, reducing time consuming administration and allowing you to focus on your business priorities. We can provide advice and assistance in preparing applications, as well as offering on-site audits, health checks, and staff training to ensure that your business remains compliant.
As well as advice on sponsor licences, our team can guide you through the complex right to work checks that all UK employers are required to conduct and draft any policies that will help protect your business from the consequences of non-compliance.
Global Talent visas: Our specialist private client immigration team has a wealth of experience assisting clients with complex exceptional talent and exceptional promise applications. We can assist in preparation of the necessary documentation and help to ensure your application is fast tracked as much as possible by the endorsing body and by the Home Office once the subsequent visa application is submitted.
Stringent documentary requirements and detailed assessment criteria are in place for all endorsing bodies. Successfully applying for endorsement can be challenging, even for the most talented applicants.
As a full service law firm, we can provide coordinated advice that you and your business need, including employment law advice, corporate and commercial, tax, regulatory and property.
Skilled worker visas: Previously known as Tier 2 (General), the Skilled Worker Visa replaced this on 1 December 2020 and is designed to enable skilled workers to come to the UK in order to fill a gap in the UK labour market.
Employers extending the stay of or recruiting Tier 2 sponsored workers need to transition those individuals into the Skilled Worker category and we are able to assist with such applications. Employers may also wish to switch Global Business Mobility/intra-company transfer and Youth Mobility Scheme workers to the Skilled Worker category in order that they are then on a track to settlement (indefinite leave to remain).
